Areas of expertise:

I am working as a Team manager in the Engineering geology group in the Unit of Energy and Construction Solutions. The main expertise of the group is in structural geology, clay basin studies, utilising of ground investigations data, rock aggregates, natural stones and 3D-modelling. My background is in applied geophysics. I am specialised on electrical methods and from those especially on ERT (Electrical Resistivity Tomography) and IP (Induced Polarisation) measurements and interpretation. My area of expertise is especially concentrated on urban geology and environmental geophysics studies. Urban geological studies have been concentrated on studies of bedrock fracturing and weakness zones as well as clay area studies including sulphide clays. In environmental geophysical studies I have been involved in studies of tailing impoundment areas, sulphide soil, monitoring of contaminated soils and dam studies etc.
