When data is easily available in an online service, data retrieval requires much less manual work.
GTK has solid experience in planning and implementing services intended for the viewing and distribution of geological data.
GTK’s own distribution channels are available at geo.fi, where you will also find links to spatial data interface services, data download service Hakku and all our map services. The GTK library and archive also serve customers in all their data needs.
Some of GTK’s public datasets are openly available, whereas others are distributed with GTK’s basic licence and available either free of charge or for a fee. The cornerstones of GTK’s data distribution policy are fairness, continuous development and high-quality customer service.
