Introduction
The objective of the project carried out by Business Joensuu and GTK is to lay the foundations for the gradual set-up of “Outokumpu Sustainable Mining Solutions (OSM) – Business Hub” from the beginning of 2023 according to the results of the prior value network survey and the proposals for action. This step of laying the foundations will involve specifying the common interests of GTK Mintec and major industrial companies, identifying the small and medium-sized companies producing solutions for these interests, and compiling a joint business plan and agreements in accordance with the value network’s requirements.
The project will be carried out by Business Joensuu Oy and GTK. It will be funded by EAKR/Regional Council of North Karelia.
