Introduction

GTK’s world-class field work competence, modern research methods and high-quality research and innovation activities serve as a strong basis for jointly financed and chargeable service for the mineral sector in Finland and internationally. The project objective is ‘GTK as the leading expert in battery clusters and a promoter of business’.

The project will produce innovations based on the management of mineral systems to improve the efficiency of battery mineral exploration.

The mineral exploration methods based on new material characterisation methods and battery mineral

exploration technologies with higher separating capacities, increase the demand for these services.
