EU TAIEX Tanzania Geodata Workshop

Introduction

The aim of the workshop is to improve geodata management within the Geological Survey of Tanzania (GST). Comprehensive, high-quality, and easily accessible geodata help attract investments to the country’s mineral sector. The workshop’s themes include geodata acquisition, geodata quality control and assurance, geodata storage, integration, security, documentation, and exercises related to the themes. The trainers for the workshop are experts from GTK and the Geological Survey of Estonia (EGT).
