Geoscience Information Solutions

Societal geoscience information management is one of GTK’s basic tasks. We compile and maintain a national geodata repository related to mineral deposits, aquifers, peat, and soil and rock resources, among other things. We share geologic material accumulated over the decades through digital customer solutions. Our web-based distribution includes more than 80 free-of-charge spatial data products.

We produce solutions for geodata collection, management, distribution and further processing in cooperation with customers and partners. We continuously develop our expertise in technology, data collection methods and the further processing of information based on artificial intelligence.

Geoscience information solutions are global and nationally reproducible.

We implement customer solutions for public actors, domestic and international companies, other research institutes, as well as universities and polytechnics.
