Geological Survey of Finland is one of the leading experts in the application of geosciences in Europe. GTK’s partnership network includes research institutes, companies and higher education institutions both domestically and globally. GTK is constantly seeking new ways of collaboration for its seven research areas.
GTK pursues top-notch scientific research to be internationally recognized. GTK invests in high-level expertise of the staff and development of the research infrastructure, while encouraging the staff to openly publish research results. GTK is committed to and complies with the Finnish Advisory Board on Research Integrity (TENK) guidelines on the Responsible conduct of research and procedures for handling allegations of misconduct in Finland.
