The vision for the Nordic region is to be the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030. The traceability of minerals across the global value chain, reducing mining waste as well as recycling secondary raw materials are essential for developing sustainable mineral industries.

Traceability of primary mineral resources can show where the minerals in for example your phone come from.

  • How can traceability of primary mineral resources be done? What does the traceability enable?
  • Introduction to the GeoPass method.

The management and classification of secondary resources represents an important step forward in promoting enhanced circularity.

  • Secondary minerals resources best practices for the unified database for better decision making.
  • Case studies of the re-mining waste from Finland, Norway and Sweden.
  • Case study on the ESG best practices – how do we manage the perception of the remining.
